From the outset, we have taken a very conservative approach to growth, so as to not over-reach our capabilities at any time.

The Company

Since our incorporation in 1984, we have enjoyed steady, controlled growth. Today, we manage a significant and well-established portfolio of properties. Our strata properties constitute the major portion of our client base, and include the largest strata complex in Western Canada (1,222 units).

Separate and apart from strata management, we were commissioned by the provincial government in 1985 to become involved in operational restructuring and ongoing management of a complex portfolio of approximately 500 real properties throughout the province. We remain the managers today.

In terms of the property management market, we are not numbered among the largest company in the field; however, size is not an objective of our company. From the outset, we have taken a very conservative approach to growth so as to not over-reach our capabilities at any time. We have always sought to ensure that we had the ability to provide services based on our standards without affecting our existing clients. Over the years, we have enjoyed a high level of success and a reputation for integrity, competence, and corporate stability. We are very proud of the fact that this reputation is based to a large extent on our financial and administrative skills. In order to maintain our standards and not achieve productivity at the expense of the individual, we have set a controlled upper limit of properties handled per manager, which is based on the size and requirements of each property managed.

Leadership

Bradley J. Fenton, R.I.(B.C.) - President

Graduate, Marketing/Management, B.C. Institute of Technology; Graduate, Urban Land Economics, University of B.C.; Managing Broker’s License including Strata Management License, Rental Management License, and Real Estate Trading License; member of the Real Estate Institute of B.C.; Director, Strata Property Agents of BC, actively involved in property management and real estate since 1979.

Neil Fraser, BA – Director of Operations

Actively involved in Strata Management for over 27 years. Graduate, Urban Geography, BA UBC, 1983; Strata Licensee, Supreme Court Appointee on two occasions as an ‘Administrator’. Former Vice President of a large Vancouver-based, Strata-specialized firm and Owner of a Surrey-based firm.
Former director of Strata Property Agents of BC. Served as an independent consultant to a number of developers and management companies while principal of a Property Management & Consulting firm. Current Director of BC Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute.

Terri Bains, CGA – Controller

Actively involved in the accounting field for more than 16 years. Prior to joining The Wynford Group, Terri was a partner in one of BC’ largest CGA firms. Terri is very familiar with the property management industry as she was primarily working with property management companies in her position with the CGA firm. She was involved in Real Estate trust examinations pertaining to strata management, rental and real estate transactions of property management companies to ensure compliance with trust accounting as set out in the Real Estate Services Act.

Bettina Rodenkirchen – General Manager

Involved in the real estate and property management industry in varying capacities for over 30 years and licensed as associate broker for Strata/Rental & Trading. She has also served as strata property advisor for the Condominium Home Owners’ Association of BC and was employed by the Real Estate Council of BC as its first Strata and Rental Property Management Information and Compliance Officer. Since joining The Wynford Group, Bettina has been appointed to the Real Estate Council’s Strata Management Advisory Group and most recently to the Compliance Committee of the Strata Property Agents of BC.
