Stage 2 Water Restrictions - Metro Vancouver

Stage 2 Water Restrictions - Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver is moving to Stage 2 watering restrictions to conserve the region’s drinking water. With more hot weather in the forecast, there is a need to cut down on using treated drinking water outdoors so there will be enough for cooking, cleaning, and drinking into the fall.

The Wynford Group will be working with Strata Councils to:

- Ensure landscape providers are adjusting irrigation, and plans are in place to care for trees, shrubs and flowers.

- Review scheduled cleanings (ie. parkade/building washing & window cleaning) with vendors to determine if or how restrictions may impact them. Interruptions should be limited because in Stage 2 commercial cleaning operations are still permitted. In addition, washing for health and safety reasons is permitted (ie. garbage room cleaning).

Should services be interrupted, or amenities closed, specific Notices will be posted to inform Owners and Residents.
